The City of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services has constructed a fun filled summer for the teens of Agoura Hills! Teens going into sixth grade through eighth grade are welcome to participate.
Our programs include T.P.A.C., Summer Day Trips, Pit Stop, the Beach Bus, and Teen Nights. T.P.A.C (Teen Planning Advisory Committee) is a leadership board of middle school students who will plan, advise and implement events and activities geared for teenagers in the Agoura Hills Community. The Committee will meet the third Monday of each month, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Applications are currently being accepted.
Summer Day Trips are a customized experience on the Hybrid Summer Express. Trips are on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and start on June 14. Fee is $45/day and parent registration is required. This month the trips include: Bowling & Pizza, Muvico & Mall and Create Studio/For Heaven Cakes.
Pit Stop is held in The Garage from 1-5 p.m. on Mondays – Fridays. Pit Stop will start on June 13, and there is a $5 daily drop-in fee Monday through Thursdays. Fridays are free with License. Additionally, there is a $150 unlimited Super Summer Pass available for purchase.
The Summer Beach Bus will begin on June 13 through August 19 and run Monday – Friday. There are various pick up locations and the bus will drop off at Zuma Beach Station #6. The Beach Bus is just $2 each way and is also scheduled to accommodate for those who are attending the Jr. Lifeguard Program.
Teen Nights will be held on numerous Friday nights from 6-9 p.m. Each Teen Night will have a different theme, which games and activities will be based off. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Events are a fee of $10 and require a Teen License. These can be purchased at the center.
