If we could “grant” him one wish, it would be to find a “Home for the Holidays!” This week our featured canine is Grant. He came to Agoura via Downey as part of the LA County Shelter to Shelter Transfer Program. Listed as a beagle mix, he also has a bit of wiry hair around his little muzzle, perhaps a wee bit of terrier too. He’s short and has a sturdy build. Let’s just say he is a very unique looking “mixed breed.” Not too big or too small, he’s the perfect size for a house, apartment or condo.

Here are some things you should know about Grant:

  • He is a little shy at first but very engaging within minutes of meeting a new person.
  • He loves to play ball.
  • He walks well on leash.
  • He takes treats gently.
  • He has a medium energy level.
  • He can be trusted in the real room.

This sweet one-year-old boy, who loves to run and play, is ready to be adopted!

The Agoura Shelter is at 29525 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills. Occasionally pets have already been adopted. To check availability, call 818-991-0071 or visit http://animalcare.lacounty.gov
