Agoura Hills/ Westlake Village Century Family Bike Ride for Wounded Vets

Registration is now being taken for a special family-friendly, 15-mile bike ride in support of wounded vets. Riders will join vets on a scenic and easy course through Westlake Village and Agoura Hills in support of Wired Athlete, an organization committed to providing wounded, ill, and injured veterans and active-duty athletes with opportunities in their transition from military to civilian life.
Following the ride, participants will enjoy lunch with beer and wine at Stonehaus Vineyard. A health and fitness expo with over 40 booths is offering demonstrations, entertainment, giveaways and information on staying healthy and fit. The ride is suited for all bikes, from cruisers to racing– helmets are mandatory. Participants must be at least 10 years old. A challenging 40- 84- or 100-mile scenic ride through the Santa Monica Mountains is also part of the event.
The Agoura Hills/ Westlake Village Century family bike ride for wounded vets is Saturday, October 1, 2016. Entry fee is $45 and includes ride, lunch and T-shirt with proceeds going to Wired Athletes. The health expo is free to the public and you need not ride to attend. All rides start & finish at Stonehaus Vineyard, 32039 Agoura Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361. The 15-mile ride starts at 10 am.
