Ry Bradley Headlines Country Western Night At Conejo Valley Days

Put on your best cowboy hat and boots and scoot over to Conejo Valley Days’ Golden Horseshoe stage, Friday, May 13, for a night filled with country and country rock music and dance. Headlining is Ry Bradley and his band.
Songwriter Bradley will bring his live-wire performance to the stage beginning at 7:00 p.m. California-born, his influences include Merle Haggard and the Rolling Stones. His current EP, Freedom Like This, is part country, part rockabilly and part rock. His popular single, New Kind of Lonely, has already received airplay on over 100 country stations around the country.
“Ry is one of hottest new country performers so it’s a thrill to have him at CVD,” says Mary-Catherine McBride. “If you love all things country, CVD is the place to be Friday night.”
The evening kicks off with line dance lessons with Kristal Lynn Konzen at 5:30 p.m. She is a line dance instructor at Borderline in Thousand Oaks and the Cowboy Palace in Chatsworth. Line dance novices and pros are encouraged to participate.
Rounding out the evening is Rebel Heart at 9:00 p.m. This five-piece southern rock band combines country, rock and blues.
CVD also feature motocross freestyle exhibitions, RCS carnival rides including Mach 1 and Insanity, games and an assortment of exhibits.
Conejo Valley Days takes place at Conejo Creek Parks South (Janss Rd./23 Freeway exit) in Thousand Oaks. Hours are Wednesday and Thursday, May 11 and 12, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 5:00 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, May 14, noon to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 15, noon to 8:00 p.m.
The Pets Central Education and Welfare Foundation is the nonprofit partner for this year’s Conejo Valley Days. In addition, more than 30 local nonprofit groups participate in CVD each year, raising money that is invested back into the community.
Live entertainment and hands-on exhibits are included with general admission. Entry: $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6 through 12 and free for kids 5 and under.
