Max is a seven-year-old, Akita-mix male that doesn’t look much like the breed, and his temperament is that of a relaxed, easy-going dog. For most of his life, he had a nice home, but he was brought to the Agoura shelter because his owner was unable to take care of him any longer.

He is a happy, playful boy who just needs a few things–food, exercise and a nice, indoor near his person. Is that the kind of dog you are looking for?

Here are some things you should know about Max:

  • He is housebroken.
  • He gets along with big and small dogs.
  • He is good with kids.
  • He is well a behaved boy while riding in a car.
  • He walks well when on leash.
  • He loves to play fetch and will bring the ball right back and flop it at your feet.
  • He is a pretty darn handsome guy.

Previously, he was left outdoors much of the time, so it is hoped that his next family will have him as an integrated member with the opportunity to live indoors. If you are looking for a fun, upbeat dog, look no further than Max.  Ask to meet him today and start your happily ever after right now.
