Hello from Bo Bear! This wonderful fellow came in with his little friend, a Chihuahua named Mo Bear who was adopted on the day the pair arrived at the shelter. Bo Bear really misses his little buddy and has become a bit anxious now that he’s on his own inside his kennel. But he has a sweet disposition and appears happy for all those who visit him in the play yard.
Bo Bear is a male, four-and-a-half -year-old American Staffordshire Terrier that was relinquished because his family had to move and were unable to take the pair. It was hard to tell which was unhappier about the circumstances that put him at the shelter, Bo Bear or his family.
Here are some things his previous owner wants you to know about Bo Bear:
- He is housebroken.
- He is good with kids.
- He gets along with big and small dogs.
- He walks well on leash.
- He is playful.
- He can be safely left alone indoors in the shelter’s “Real Room.”
- He enjoys going for rides in the car.
The volunteers are lavishing attention on this sweet boy who is ready to brighten up a new home with his big “smile.” So, if you are looking for a smart, confident and good-natured boy to be your companion, ask to meet Bo Bear today. He is sure to brighten your life.
