Buster is a one-year-old male pit bull. Sadly, he was brought to the shelter by his owners, because they had to move away and couldn’t take him along. While this was probably the right thing to do, the owners were heartbroken because they loved being together with their beloved dog. But they are hoping that some wonderful person or family–who understands the nature of Pit Bulls, including how quick they bond with people–will take him to his forever home. Could that be with you?
Here are some things you should know about Buster:
- He is housebroken.
- He walks well on leash.
- He is good with big dogs, small dogs and cats, too.
- He is good around and with kids.
- He is still a puppy so he will continue to need more training.
This breed can get a bad rap, but since he is still young, it is important to know that he truly needs someone who has the time and patience to teach him all the things he needs to learn. And it is known that he can learn because he is super smart! Make sure to include treats when doing the training. He like those! But if you don’t have the time or you plan to just put him in the backyard, then he is just not the pup for you right now.
He has the sweetest disposition and tail wags for everyone he sees. If you are looking for a playful, happy boy to show you the loyalty that “Pitties” are known for, look no further. Ask to meet him today, and he will spend the rest of his life being hopelessly devoted to you.
