This holiday season, adopt Gus. He’ll be a gift to you that will keep on giving with affection, entertainment and companionship.

Gus is a six-year-old, neutered male that is litter box trained and loves to stay indoors with his family. He was well cared for prior to entering the shelter and is a well-adjusted cat. With much regret, his former person had to give him up when she could no longer take care of him due to her age and health.

Being in a cage hasn’t helped his waistline. Now in the Habikat, he loves to play with the adults and children that visit. He’s frequently the first to get to the door and greet people. Gus likes other cats and playing will also help him get fit and trim again.

In excellent health, he was chosen as a blood donor when an ailing cat needed a blood transfusion, which is why his neck has a shaved spot. As a result of his “good will,” Gus received an unexpected free dental examination and teeth cleaning.

Remember, the holidays are a time of giving. Not only will you receive the best gift by welcoming Gus into your family, you will give Gus his best gift ever, a forever home.
