Cuteness alert! This beyond-adorable Chihuahua is Ben! At nine years old, he arrived at the shelter as a stray. It’s hard to believe one so tiny was wandering the streets alone, but he managed well in spite of the cold weather. He had identification, but no one came to claim him. No one at the shelter can figure out why, because he is adorable with a personality to match his cute looks.
Quickly adopted once he was off his stray hold, he was returned the next day as the other dogs in the family didn’t take too kindly to the new five-pound arrival.
Here are some things you should know about Ben.
- He is housebroken.
- He walks well on leash. You should see his little legs go.
- He is good with dogs and cats.
- He is nondestructive of the furniture in the real room.
- He likes being with people.
- A mature family is preferred.
If you are interested in Ben and have another dog, bring it in for a meet and greet. We know that Ben wants to be friendly but not every dog wants to have a canine companion, and we don’t want Ben returned again through no fault of his own.
If you are looking for a tiny dog to join your household, Ben will be a perfect match.
