Lola, a 4-year-old female Labrador retriever/Rotweiler mix, was brought to the shelter because her owners could no longer care for her.
Coming to the shelter was not too bad for her, because she was kept outdoors much of the time. If you know anything about her breeds, then you know they are people dogs that love to be inside, living with their people, not left outside all alone.
So, the hope is that her forever family will come through the doors and make her an integrated part of their home–inside safe and warm– and, most importantly, near them! Could that be with you?
Here are some things you should know about her:
- She is housebroken.
- She is good around children.
- She walks well on leash.
- She enjoys car rides.
- She is picky about which dogs she likes to be with.
She also loves to play fetch. However, she is not so keen on giving the ball up. It doesn’t appear that she thinks the person is going to “steal” it from her or anything; she just doesn’t quite grasp the game. So the smart volunteers solved the problem by simply playing with two balls. That way when she comes back with one, they throw the other one, so the game continues.
If you are looking for a delightful girl who will steal your heart, ask to meet her today.
