Rambo is a Chihuahua mix that is estimated to be three-and-half years old. There is nothing known about his past because, sadly, he was living on the streets all alone. Can you imagine a little guy like him out there fending for himself day in and day out before he was picked up by animal control?

He seemed happy to finally be safe and warm once he got to the shelter as he snuggled up in his own bed, but as you can imagine being so small and having to take care of himself for so long, it took him a little time to warm up to all the volunteers who took care of him.

At first he was a bit shy and scared because of the day-to-day hustle and bustle at the shelter. Now, he is much better, more relaxed, and the volunteers feel he is ready to leave the building and find a place to call his forever home.

Rambo7845Here are some things you should know about him:

  • He is the perfect size for a house, condo or apartment.
  • He doesn’t really show much interest in other pups, so he would make a perfect only dog. If you have one at home please bring him/her in to meet Rambo before taking him home with you.
  • He loves to go for walks and long ones, too.

If you are looking for the perfect little guy to fit into your life and home, look no further than Rambo. Ask to meet him and maybe he could head to your house today!
