The annual California Jazz & Wine Fest feted a mostly local crowd of jazz and wine aficionados last Sunday for the third year in a row.
Held at Conejo Creek North Park and presented by the Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise, the fundraising event sold out a few days prior to Sunday, with over 1,600 tickets sold, tripling last year’s event.
Among the local wineries and breweries who poured their finest wines and drafts were Cielo Farms, Herzog Wine Cellars, Magnavino Cellars, Opolo Winery, Trancas Vineyards, Firestone Walker Brewing Co., Surf Brewery and The LAB Brewing Co.
Guests were also treated to delectable food samples from BJ’s Restaurants, AB Caffe Services, DJ’s Catering, Fresh Brothers, Niroj Levant and Paul Martin’d American Grill, among others.
Ambrosia, Alphonso Johnson, Mighty Mo Rodgers and Geyer-Drummond Trio provided the entertainment that afternoon.
Proceeds from the sell-out event go to local high schools as well as non-profit organizations.
