Jane Seymour held center court amongst hundreds of fans and admirers on opening night of her [email protected] Adobe Solo Artist Show, presented by the Agoura Hills Cultural Arts Council, at the Reyes Adobe Friday night. The actress-turned-artist posed for photographs, chatted with guests and signed purchased items from her collection, which will be on exhibit through March 31. Original works, giclées, posters, books and note cards are all available for purchase.
Also on exhibit are the artistic photographs of Sean Flynn, an accomplished photographer and music video director. Flynn, Seymour’s eldest son, is renowned for his images shot in HDR–High Dynamic Range imaging–an old photographic practice accomplished in the dark room.
His technique involves shooting multiple exposures, from underexposed to over exposed, and combining them into a final image that’s rich in color and dimension. “My approach to my artwork is capturing a memory,” he said. “I like to describe it as somewhere between fantasy, reality and memory to create a story.” Click here for more information on Flynn and his art.
Gallery times are Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturdays, 1-5 p.m. The Reyes Adobe Historical Site is located at 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive, Agoura Hills, CA 91301.
