“It’s generous donations like these that help us get closer to our goal of opening the Triunfo YMCA by the end of the year,” said Ronnie Stone, CEO of the Southeast Ventura County YMCA, which oversees four YMCA branches including the Triunfo Y. “We are truly grateful for the donation from Sotheby’s International Realty in Westlake Village. Their donation will make a difference.”

The Triunfo YMCA facility currently under construction off of Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Westlake Village received a $10,000 donation from Sotheby’s International Realty in Westlake Village. The donation was officially received during a gathering at the YMCA construction site on Wednesday, June 15.
“We are proud to give back to the community that we serve and feel that the YMCA is an integral part in providing activities and programs for all age groups,” said Annette Berger, Vice President and Brokerage Manager for Sotheby’s International Realty’s Westlake Village and Channel Islands offices. “This donation is the first of a continued effort, in part, with the agents of Sotheby’s International Realty in Westlake Village.”
The new YMCA will serve Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Oak Park, Westlake Village and portions of Thousand Oaks. Construction began in 2014 and two of the three building phases are complete including the exterior of the 60,000 square foot structure, parking areas and landscaping. Once completed, up to 20,000 community members are expected to take part in activities at the Y each year.
