The New Moon occurs on Friday, September 30, 2016, at 5:11 PM PDT.
A new cycle begins with a New Moon in Libra. This cycle presents a good time to affirm and commit to personal goals that are reflective of Libra’s energy. This New Moon will allow us to put a healthy emphasis and focus on 7th house (Libra) issues. Libra’s scales call for a rebalancing of relationships, so we can be better team players with our partners. It’s a good time to remind any kind of partner, business or romantic, that we are on the same team. Let’s work on negotiation, cooperation and compromise without complete concessions.
Librans love to bring people together, form alliances and create peace. As harmony is the goal, there’s a fine balancing act involved along the way that requires some commitment and effort. Why? First, we have to establish a sense of order in our own lives before we try to balance others.
The Libra New Moon is a cycle in which balancing our close personal relationships becomes a priority. Negotiations may be especially effective, as we are inclined to assert our needs in ways that don’t offend others. However, with the New Moon squaring Mars and Pluto in Capricorn, we can experience some push back and possibly power struggles.
As much as Libra seeks balance, we want to avoid the scales swinging back and forth like a pendulum. At the New Moon, moderate, don’t over compensate.
I publish the time of the Full and/or New Moon frequently. Each Moon cycle is different based on the sign it occurs in. Use the New Moon as the perfect opportunity to create new habits, because the Moon rules our subconscious mind. It is important for all of us to know what sign our Moon is in so we can personalize the Moon cycle. For instance, if you are born with a Libra Moon this your opportunity to create new patterns in your life. When the Moon in the sky aligns with your natal Moon, it is your Lunar Return. That is the day for scheduling important events, meetings, etc. In other words, it’s your monthly power day.
