Where to View Fireworks in the Conejo Valley This Weekend

Wondering where to take in the Fourth of July fireworks this weekend? It’s always a good idea to plan ahead, especially if you’re taking the whole family.

Here’s our guide to this local fireworks displays:


Friday, July 3: The City of Moorpark presents its 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza on Sunday, July 3rd (yes…the day before the 4th) at Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. Gates open at 3:45 p.m. Festivities start at 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per person; children 4 and under are free. Simi Valley

Rotary Club of Simi Valley 46th Annual 4th of July Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza. Co-sponsors: City of Simi Valley and Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District. Free Admission! Kids Fun Zone – Food & Crafts Booths – Live Music Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, 5005 Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley.


Takes place at the Calabasas High School Football Field  (22855 W. Mulholland Hwy.,). Advanced Tickets Required / No-onsite ticket sales. $10 per person / Children under 2 free. Pre-purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Limited tickets available! This show typically sells out before July 4th.

Westlake Village

The fireworks will be the grand finale to an afternoon of family-friendly activities at the Westlake Village Golf Course Driving Range and Parking Lot. 4th of July entertainment and activities will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 9:30 p.m. The gates at the golf course will open at 5 p.m. and at 6 p.m. at Calvary.

Thousand Oaks

  • Bethany Church on the Hill in Thousand Oaks once again opens its incredible views to the public with a 4th of July Celebration starting at 6pm. Free music, family fun, food for sale and some of the best views of the Thousand Oaks fireworks display in town!
  • The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Fireworks start at 9 p.m., with a great view from the Janss Marketplace and The Oaks mall parking lots and surrounding areas!
