This Week in Astrology With Nick Newmont: December 31- January 7, 2016

nickandaudprofessional-001Hello Conejo Valley, after several articles here, allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Nick Newmont, a local astrologer and numerologist for the past twenty five years. In 2003, my book Newmerology was published.

I hope you have enjoyed the weekly articles and astrological info to date.

I am asked many questions when approaching a new year. As we venture into 2016, this week’s offering is a numerological breakdown of 2-0-1-6 and the theme of the year ahead. By adding 2+0+1+6 the result is 9. Simple math.

We are ending a number 8 calendar year (success driven) and entering a number 9 year. This is the last year of the current nine-year cycle. The number nine represents completion, patience, tolerance and compassion.

The next 365 days are about finishing what we have started and taking a patient approach to everything we do. A nine year works better when are finishing things instead trying to start new projects. Own the concept that you have plenty of time to accomplish what you want.

The biggest issue on the minds of Americans is the upcoming presidential election. Who will win? The candidate who focuses on how they intend to help the people as opposed to the candidates who spend their campaign mud slinging.

For the rest of us, my recommended approach to the new year is affirming intentions, not making resolutions that never go anywhere.
Whatever you intend for 2016, do it with a sense of compassion for yourself and those around you.

I wish you a very Happy New Year.
