On Saturday, the Moon is full when the Aquarius Sun opposes the Leo moon. The Full Moon is a time of fulfillment that was initiated at the New Moon.

The Leo-Aquarius polarity deals with the balance between all that is personal (Leo) and all that is impersonal (Aquarius). Leo rules the fifth house (the love you give) and Aquarius rules the 11th house (the love you receive). This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between romance and friendship, and how to recognize the difference. This weekend will test relationships for their true worth and this period is a time when being a good judge of character and evaluating relationships is important. If you do have to address a situation that needs completion, be tactful.

The Leo-Aquarius opposition creates a tug of war regarding boundaries. When a Leo says “don’t cross this line,” he or she will honor the boundary and they expect others to do the same. The Aquarius Full Moon will test those boundaries. Leo’s pride does not want to be upstaged and will not be. Are there boundaries in your life that need to be established or reinforced?

People ask me frequently what to with the astrological information I publish, especially Moon cycles. Because the Full Moon is the culmination of the Moon cycle, it is the ideal time to release and let go of unwanted feelings, habits and behavior.

The Moon rules our feelings and subconscious. How does the Full Moon make you feel? What emotions come up for you? If you have significant Leo or Aquarius aspects in your chart, you are prone to the effects of this Full Moon.

If you are so inclined, write on a small piece of paper what you want to release. Throw the paper into a fire and watch it burn. And if you are truly inspired, howl at the Moon.

Have a great week!
