Have you been feeling a bit off recently? Are you a little tired, not as productive? Here are some insights as to how the cosmos may be affecting you. Saturn and Neptune are squaring off. Remember a square occurs when two planets are 90 degrees away from each other.

Saturn began to square Neptune in mid-May and forms an exact square with Neptune on the 17th – the second in a series that first came in November, 2015. When Saturn turns direct motion on August 13th, it begins to apply back to the square to Neptune. The exact square hits for the last time onSeptember 11th. This energy will have stuck with us for much of 2016.

Saturn and Neptune represent opposite concepts. Saturn is all about karma, reality and obstacles. Neptune is dreamy and fantasy filled. We must ask ourselves if we are being realistic at this time.  Some feelings of disillusionment can come now as our dreams and ideals can be put to the test. Questioning our faith in our dreams can lead to lack of follow-through or wasteful activities and avoidance of responsibilities. Ideally, this crisis leads to a realignment of material goals and spiritual ideals as we assess what is truly meaningful to us. Financial restrictions may seem to block our plans, or we could feel a sudden lack of inspiration. Be wise with money right now; don’t over extend credit.

We might be forced to face issues we’ve been avoiding or putting off, or deal with addictions, money drains and other behaviors that have been dragging us down. Sacrifices may need to be made in order to gain materially or spiritually. It’s important to simplify and detoxify but also reach out to others for support and guidance. Over the coming year, it will be important to take a hard look at our addictions, fears and attitudes that have us chained to situations and that keep us from growing.

This is a time to stay away from fear and doubt. Let other people have their reality. If what others say and do does not fit with your reality, move on. If you have great ideas for projects, keep them to yourself right now so the doubters and nay-sayers can’t cast aspersions on your creations.

Create your reality and have a magnificent week!
