Friday

Music in Motion at the Agoura Hills Library: Fun, musically rewarding and motivating class for babies, toddlers, and their parents. Classes are held every Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Agoura Hills Library.

The Tubes at the Canyon Club: The ’70s theater rock band performs at 9 p.m.

 

 

Saturday

35th Annual Wings Over Camarillo Airshow: The Camarillo Wings Association will host this year’s “Wings Over Camarillo” Air Show with support from volunteers from the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, EAA Chapter 723 and the Ventura County 99s. This year’s event is planned for August 22-23 at the Camarillo Airport from 12-4:30 p.m. Gates open at 9 a.m.

Saturday Concerts in the Park in Westlake Village: Boogie Nights perform at 7 p.m. with food available for purchase beginning at 6 p.m.

Summer Nights Outdoor Screening, ‘The Neverending Story’ in Thousand Oaks:The Lakes at Thousand Oaks (2200 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks) is hosting a screening of The Neverending Story in the park. Grass seating is available and limited blankets will be provided. Admission is free.

Star Parties Hosted by Oak Canyon Astronomy Group in Oak Park: The Oak Canyon Astronomy Group Star Parties at Oak Canyon Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive, Oak Park are free to the public. The mission of the group is to bring an awareness of amateur astronomy to the community by showing what they can actually see in the night sky.

 

Sunday

Birdwatching for Young Children: Take the kids for this fun and educational experience to Malibu Lagoon State Beach from 10-11 a.m.

Cruise Camarillo Old Town Car Show: Cruise into Old Town Camarillo on the fourth Sunday of each month from April thru October for Camarillo Sunday Cruise. This monthly car show brings together classic vehicles, food & live music.

Joe Gray and His Late Night Big Band at Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks:Joe Gray and His Late Night Big Band performs from 5-6:30 p.m.

2015 Sun Sets Concert Series at Calabasas Lake: New West Symphony Presents Jason Vieaux–NPR describes award winning guitarist Jason Vieaux as, “perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation.”
