Kindermusik with Katie at Newbury Park LibraryJoin Katie Shinden, and other Kindermusik teachers, for these delightful monthly musical programs at both libraries! Music and fun for little ones, their parents and caregivers!

Neil Simon’s RUMORS at the AGOURA PAECApril 2-4, 8 pm. April 4, 2 pm. Special pricing for students and seniors. Tickets available at www.thepaecs.org. Performances take place at the Agoura High School PAEC Black Box Theatre. 

The Long Run, Fortunate Son & Dolly Madison at the Canyon ClubThe tribute bands for The Eagles and Creedence perform at 9 p.m. Tickets are $19.50 plus applicable fees.

Focus on Birds Walk at Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center: This is a one mile walk. Bring your camera and get tips on capturing colorful birds. Meet by the flag pole at 8:30 a.m. 

Oak Park Spring Egg Hunt and Arts and Crafts ShowThe Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District Spring Egg Hunt and Arts & Crafts Show is planned for Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Mae Boyar Park, 130 N. Kanan Rd. Oak Park from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

City of Moorpark Easter Egg HuntThe Annual City of Moorpark Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Arroyo Vista Community Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. The event includes Easter Egg hunts, pony rides, petting farm, carnival games and more.

“All About Tomatoes” Workshop in Thousand OaksLearn “All About Tomatoes,” a workshop at 10:30 a.m. at the Las Flores Community Garden.

Art Exhibit Opening at Satwiwa Center Newbury ParkThis art exhibit opening features the work of Navajo/Dine Indian artist Harold Freeland, who will be on hand for a meet and greet.

Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park’s 48th Annual Easter Sunrise ServiceLuminaries in the form of a cross will light up a small hill as more than 1,000 community members gather at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park for the 48th annual Easter Sunrise Service. 

Easter Egg Hunt at Christ the King Church in Newbury Park: The Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10 a.m., following services and a pancake breakfast.

Spring Spectacular at America’s Teaching Zoo in Moorpark: Spring Spectacular 2015 will take place the weekends of March 21-22, March 28-29 and April 4-5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Main Stage shows “Trouble in Zoopolis” at 10:30, 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for ages 3 to 12 (free for 2 and under). –
