Cal Lutheran Wind Ensemble Spring Concert: The program for California Lutheran University’s Wind Ensemble Spring Concert will range from classical music to modern dances to a jazz-inspired work.

Kristen Chenowith at the Civic Arts Plaza: The Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actress and singer will perform at 8 p.m. at the Fred Kavli Theatre.


‘Paint Out’ at King Gillette Ranch: Eucalyptus-lined entrance, mountain vistas, oak groves and historic Mediterra­nean estate. All painting levels and medium welcome.

Breakfast With the Bunny at Reyes Adobe: There will be spring time crafts hosted by The Hideout, an egg hunt, light breakfast refreshments, and photo opportunities with the bunny.

Wilderness Survival Basics at King Gillette Ranch: Ever wonder what it takes to get prepared for a wilderness survival situation? Join us on this program and learn some of the basics and tips you hope­fully will never have to use.

10th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Agoura Hills/Calabasas Recreation Center: Enjoy this free, annual family event, featuring kids activities, raffle, live Irish music and dancers.

‘Give Back Basketball Game” in Thousand Oaks: Kiwanis of Thousand Oaks is sponsoring the 7th Annual “Give Back Basketball Game” for charity on March 12, 2016.  This wonderful community event raises money for MANNA food bank, American Cancer Society/ Relay for Life and local community youth organizations.

MakerBox STEAM Program at Thousand Oaks Library: Ages 8 and up will enjoy making music with a laptop, fruit and circuits. A MakerBox Collaborative STEAm program.

Agoura Munch Madness International Street Fair: Europe comes to Agoura! Bring your family and friends for the ultimate mobile gourmet experience, where LA’s top food trucks offer cuisine from around the world amid a setting of twinkling lights, live music, street performers and amazing live music.

Illumination 5K Glow Run For Guide Dogs of America in Newbury Park:  Participants will initally start off in groups based on the color of glow they have. As you run the 1st one mile loop, you will pick up additional glow colors and run with like groups. You will continue to pick up additional colors of glow on the second and third loops as well, coming in for a bright finish.



4th Annual Walk to End Genocide in Thousand Oaks: Visit the Global Village Festival before and after the Walk, for information and advocacy booths on Darfur, Sudan, Congo and other human rights abuses, conflict minerals campaign and other advocacy opportunities, solar cooker demonstrations, crafts, merchandise, food, music and more.

History Tour at Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center:Go on a leisurely stroll around the visitor center and adjacent grounds while we learn what this area meant to the people who lived here.

Jumpin’ Joz Band at Thousand Oaks Library: Bring the family to enjoy the swinging jazz sounds of the Jumpin’ Joz Band. Get your hands clapping and your toes tapping to these cool rhythms.
