Miller YMCA Open House & Free Family SwimThe Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park is hosting an open house and a free afternoon of family swim time from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Holiday Ice Rink at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks: General admission for a 60 minute session is $10 and skate rentals are $4. 

5th Annual Coats for Casa Pacifica Coat Drive in Westlake Village: The 5th Annual Coats for Casa Pacifica coat drive will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Three Springs Park in Westlake Village. The event also includes 25 tons of snow and sledding to entertain the kids and their families, complimentary cold and hot coffee drinks and smoothies, plus an arts and crafts area to create a Winter Wonderland atmosphere. 

City of Agoura Hills Opens New Recreation Center – Grand Opening Event: The public is invited to join the City of Agoura Hills in the grand opening of the new Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center on Saturday, January 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The celebration includes a ribbon cutting ceremony, guided tours of the new facility, food and refreshments, a bounce house, arts and crafts activities and free glitter tattoos for kids.  

 Sunday 

eWaste Recycling at Yerba Buena Elementary School: Bring your electronic waste to Yerba Buena Elementary School, 6098 Reyes Adobe Road, Agoura Hills, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. where they will be recycled.

Native Plants at Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center: Winter Color in Native Gardens – discover native plants that provide color in leaf flower, berries and seeds. Meet inside visitor center at 11 a.m.  

James Durbin at the Canyon Club: This American Idol singer performs at 9 p.m.
