The Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival: The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company is dedicated to presenting professional programs and performances of the works of William Shakespeare for the education and entertainment of people of all ages.  Performances are on the campus of California Lutheran University. For online lawn box reservations follow the links below. Journey Tribute at Sagebrush Cantina: Back by popular demand, Don’t Stop Believin will be performing a line-up of Journey’s popular power ballads at the Sagebrush Cantina on Friday, July 11.  Lead singer Juan Del Castillo is known for his authentic delivery of Journey’s greatest hits including Lights, Don’t Stop Believing, Faithfully and Anyway You Want It.  NO COVER.  Come early for good seats.  City of Westlake Village Presents Finding Nemo: Summer evenings in Westlake Village provide the perfect backdrop for a great entertainment series. The 11th Annual TGIF Westlake Village series offers families a series of free performances at the Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive. Events start at 7 p.m., except the movie on 7/11, which starts at 8.p.m.

 Saturday

Collector Car 5: Cruise and Show: The event is presented by the Coachmen Car Club of Ventura County in recognition of the U.S. Senate Resolution declaring the second Friday of July “National Collector Car Appreciation Day.” The event for 2014 will be held at MB2 Raceway 1475 Lawrence Drive, Newbury Park, CA, from 4-10 p.m.

La Fiesta Del Triunfo: Conejo Valley Historical Society 50th Celebration:

The Conejo Valley Historical Society CVHS celebrates 50 years and honors two local Community Volunteers (Don & Doña) with a special evening including dinner, dancing, live music, silent & live auctions. This year we are pleased to honor Albert “Bud”  Marley, EdD & Pat Paulucci. This event will be held at the beautiful new “The Gardens at Los Robles Greens”. Proceeds enable CVHS to continue to offer educational programs preserving Conejo Valley History & Cultural Heritage.

The Marvelous Wonderettes: “Welcome, boys and girls, to Springfield High School — home of the Chipmunks! McCrea Ranch Visitors Center: Summer Movie Series – Meet The Stewarts: Enjoy a movie starring Joel McCrea or Frances Dee under the stars on the deck of the Visitor Center. Fresh popcorn, candy and beverages provided. Gate opens 30 minutes prior to movie. $10 per movie or Season tickets for $25.

 

Sunday 

Native and Drought Tolerant Blooming Wildflowers Walk in Calabasas: Tour the garden and learn how to reduce landscape watering beyond the use of pebbles and cactus. Meet by fountain at 10 a.m.

Free Concert at Peter Strauss Ranch: Vernum Rush will begin the set at 3 p.m., followed by the Cartucho de Villa from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m.

Individual tickets are $20 and are only available at the door. Youth and children under 18 are free.
Sun Sets Summer Concert Series on Sunday Nights at Calabasas Lake: Queen Nation headlines this weekend’s 2014 Summer Sun Sets Concert Series at Calabasas Lake.The traditionally private Calabasas Lake opens its doors to concert goers, providing a scenic backdrop and ample field seating for picnickers.
