CLU Students to Host Outdoor Jazz ConcertCalifornia Lutheran University students will present a free outdoor jazz concert in the Uyeno Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 17.

Friday Night Funnies at Borderline Grill Thousand OaksJoin comedians Jason Love, Kira Soltanovich and Paul Ogata at Borderline Grill Thousand Oaks on Friday, April 17th for a night of great comedy at Friday Night Funnies. 40th Conejo Valley Home Remodeling ShowHomeowners who are planning spring and summer projects around their house can talk with professionals for ideas and advice at the 40th Conejo Valley Home Remodeling Show. The spring show is Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza (880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village).

Conejo Valley Open Studio TourVisit the galleries and studios showcasing the work of over 150 artists in the 2015 Greater Conejo Valley Open Studio Tour, Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Annual CLU Scandinavian Festival in Thousand OaksOne of the largest Nordic festivals in the western United States will return to California Lutheran University April 18 and 19. The 41st Scandinavian Festival will celebrate the cultures of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden and the Saami people from the Arctic regions of Scandinavia. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Jr. Variety Presents Kids 4 Kids Carnival in Agoura HillsJr. Variety will again host the Kids 4 Kids Carnival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., April 18 at Willow Elementary School, 29026 Laro Drive, Agoura Hills. This annual event is Jr. Variety’s biggest fundraiser, having raised over $250,000 since it began.

Agoura Hills Sponsors Juried Student Art Show at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site: In partnership with the Westlake Village Art Guild (WVAG), the City of Agoura Hills is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the Guild’s Student Awards Juried Art Show for high school juniors and seniors. Seventy-six finalists will have their entries on view at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site gallery from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

41st Annual Gem & Mineral Show in Newbury ParkThe Conejo Gem & Mineral Club presents its 41st annual Pageant of a Thousand Gems on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Borchard Community Center, 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park. Admission and parking are FREE!

Westlake Village Garden Club – 2015 Garden TourFrom 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Westlake Village Garden Club is holding their 42nd annual Garden Tour. This award-winning tour includes 5 unique, one-of-a-kind gardens throughout the community.

1st Annual K9s for Warriors Fundraiser at Newbury Park High SchoolThe Interact Clubs of Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Westlake, La Reina, Agoura, Oak Park, Oaks Christian and Camarillo high schools with support from the Rotary Clubs in the Conejo Valley, will be hosting the 1st Annual K9s for Warriors Fundraiser at Newbury Park High School Performing Arts Center on Sunday April 19th from 2 to 4 p.m.
