Easter Hoppening Event at Malibu Bluffs ParkThe City of Malibu’s Annual Easter Hoppening event is set for Friday, March 27th from 3-6 p.m. at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu. Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon filled with an egg hunt for children ages 1-10, bounce houses*, crafts, photos with the Easter Bunny and more! *$1 to $15.

Calabasas Spring EGGstreme at Juan Bautista de Anza ParkThe Calabasas Spring EGGstreme event is planned for Friday, March 27th, from 6-9 p.m. at Juan Bautista de Anza Park. It’s a spring party! Join us for a free bunny hop dance plus plenty of spring themed games, face painting, crafts, and a petting zoo. Take your picture with the Easter Bunny ($5) then grab a basket and try our tiny tot egg-scramblers (ages 4 and younger) or our all new flashlight egg hunts (ages 5 & up).

Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills: The 30th Annual Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills gets underway beginning at 7 a.m. (registration begins at 6 a.m.).

Ride 2 Recovery Honor Ride in Westlake VillageFormerly the Honor Ride Agoura Hills, The Honor Ride Los Angeles will be a beautiful ride through Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks with rest stops and lunch post-race. Bring family and friends out for this 25 mile ride on bike-friendly streets. There will also be an intermediate 55 mile route. Learn more and register at www.ride2recovery.com/honorRide.php.

Breakfast With The Bunny At The Reyes Adobe: The City of Agoura Hills will host Breakfast with the Bunny at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site. There will be spring time crafts hosted by The Hideout, egg hunts, light breakfast refreshments, and photo opportunities with the bunny. 

Conejo Recreation & Park District Annual Conejo Springfest: Bring your kids to the Conejo Recreation and Park District Conejo Springfest Family Event on Saturday, March 28th at Conejo Creek South Playfields (Janss Road at the 23 freeway). The event runs from 12-3 p.m. The cost is a nominal $5 per child (ages 2 to 12) and FREE for kids under 2. 

Springtime at the Adobe Event in Calabasas: Springtime at the Adobe at the Leonis Adobe Museum, 23537 Calabasas Road, Calabasas, takes place on Saturday, March 28th from 1-4pm. 


Art Exhibit at Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center: Visitors are invited to enjoy original work by local artists at the Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains & Seashore Art Exhibit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at the Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center on the grounds of King Gillette Ranch, 26876 Mulholland Hwy. 

Welcome to Malibu Creek Walk in Calabasas: Learn about the wildlife, early inhabitants and movies filmed in the park on this docent-led walk. Meet at lower parking lot at 10 a.m. 

Cultural Workshop at Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center: Enjoy this Cultural Workshop featuring Chumash/Tataviam storyteller Alan Salazar. Call 805.370.2301 for more info. Shows are 10-12 p.m. and 1-3 p.m. 

Spring Spectacular at America’s Teaching Zoo in Moorpark: Spring Spectacular 2015 will take place the weekends of March 21-22, March 28-29 and April 4-5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Main Stage shows “Trouble in Zoopolis” at 10:30, 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for ages 3 to 12 (free for 2 and under). –
