Friday

$5 Friday! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Create fun and colorful art using recycled materials at Art Trek from 5:30-9 p.m.

Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival Presents ‘Richard III’ at CLUThe 19th season of the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival will conclude on a tragic note with “Richard III.” Performances will begin at 8 p.m. July 17 through 19, July 24 through 26, and July 31 through Aug. 2 in Kingsmen Park on the Thousand Oaks campus of California Lutheran University. The festival grounds open at 5:30 p.m. for picnicking and entertainment.

Calabasas Dive In Movie–The LEGO Movie: Doors open at 6 p.m. Free swimming and family fun entertainment from 6-8:30 p.m., and movie starts at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The Street Art Live: The Street Art Live Whizin Market Square, 28914 Roadside Dr, Agoura Hills A monthly LIVE art event bringing some of SoCal’s best emerging artists forward. Walk along the atrium and watch artists create street art right before your eyes.

Saturday

Pirate Days Festival at Ventura Harbor Village: Grab yer doubloons and set sail to Ventura “Aarghbor” Village for the 10th Annual Pirate Days Festival on Saturday& Sunday, July 18 & 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ventura Harbor Pirate Days is one of Ventura’s most popular public festivals that attracts “pirates” of all ages who come dressed for swashbuckling fun.

Caribbean Drum Circle at Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park Libraries: Professional musician, Joseph Peck, will engage children and adults alike with captivating stories about innovation, development and cultural significance of the steel drum. Participants will delight in this hands-on drumming experience. For ages 3 and up.

Saturday in the Park Concert- ’80z All stars” Tribute Band: Food is available for sale from restaurant vendors each week. The featured menu is available online. Please click on the vendor names for the food vendor’s selections. All purchases are cash only. All events begin at 7 p.m. with food available for purchase beginning at 6 p.m.

Campfire Night at Malibu Creek State Park: The Nature of Wildworks will present “Awesome Animals.” Meet at amphitheater at 7 p.m.

Time of My Life! Concert at Hillcrest Center: Jamie and Gail present Time of My Life! A concert featuring favorite songs from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s, on Saturday, July 18 at 8:00 pm at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Dr. in Thousand Oaks.

 

Sunday

Malibu Cars and Coffee: The City of Malibu, in partnership with Exclusive Motorcars, Southern California’s top car enthusiasts will enjoy a beautiful drive down the coast to meet at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, from 7-9 a.m.

‘Short and Suite’ Concert: The Westlake Village Music Society, a community outreach program sponsored by Music Ministry at the United Methodist Church of Westlake Village, will present a “Short and Suite” concert at the church on Sunday, July 19 at 4 p.m.

Conejo Valley Community Concert & Jazz Band in Agoura Hills:The annual performance takes place at the Performing Arts and Education Center on the campus at Agoura High School from 6-8 p.m.

Silents Under the Stars at Paramount Ranch–Why Change Your Wife?: Why Change Your Wife? (1920), 8-10 p.m. will screen at Paramount Ranch, 2903 Cornell Rd, Agoura Hills.
