Weekend Guide: Glow-in-the-Dark Egg Hunt, National Junior Ranger Day and Sunrise Easter Service

Friday

Music in Motion: Fun, musically rewarding and motivating class for babies, toddlers, and their parents. Classes are held every Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Agoura Hills Library.

Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt at Malibu Bluffs Park (Ages 11-17): Hunt for glow-in-the-dark eggs, prizes and other sparkling items at the Teen Egg Hunt for students ages 11-17 on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Search for special eggs that will contain gift cards, store certificates and coupons that can be traded for merchandise. The night will also include music, food and glow-in-the-dark games.

Kenny Cetera: Chicago Experience: Kenny Cetera plays the music of Chicago.  Songs include “If You Leave Me Now,” “Saturday In The Park,” “Just You & Me,” “25 or 6 To 4,” “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is” and more. Show time is at 9 p.m.

National Junior Ranger Day at Santa Monica Mountains Visitor Center: There are lots of free events and programs in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area locations in Ventura County and adjacent areas through April 2014. Click here for the complete list.

Oak Park Spring Egg Hunt and Arts and Crafts Show: The Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District Spring Egg Hunt and Arts & Crafts Show is planned at Mae Boyar Park, 130 N. Kanan Rd. Oak Park from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Joey Molland’s Badfinger at the Canyon Club: The band will be performing their hits “Come And Get It,” “No Matter What,” “Day After Day” and many more. Show time is at 9 p.m.

Sunday   Happy Easter!

Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park to Host 47th Annual Easter Sunrise Service:  The service will be held April 20 beginning at 6 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake Village, just north of the 101 Freeway. The service, open to all in the community, is sponsored by the Conejo Valley Interfaith Association.

Innovation in the Golden Era Walk at King Gillette Ranch: King Gillette Ranch was home to MGM Director Clarence Brown, who made movies on this still popular filming location. Look behind the scenes at his innovations and Hollywood parties on this easy walk at 8 a.m.

Movie Magic Walk at Paramount Ranch: Learn what turned a dusty set into a realistic town on this easy paced walk behind the scenes at 2 p.m.
