Friday

Dive In Movie Night in Calabasas, ‘Descendants’: Free outdoor screening of Disney’s Descendants. Doors open at 6 p.m., Free swimming and family fun entertainment from 6-8:30 p.m., and movie starts at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Redbirds Native American Powwow in Moorpark: Enjoy Native American singing, dancing, arts, crafts and food all weekend long.

Free Screening ‘Star Wars’ at Community Center Park in Camarillo: The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District once again is hosting a series of free outdoor movies on Friday nights in June, July and August 2016 at Community Center Park.

‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream,’ Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival at CLU: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” follows the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors, the mechanicals, who are all controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set.

 

Saturday

Redbirds Native American Powwow in Moorpark: Enjoy Native American singing, dancing, arts, crafts and food all weekend long.

‘Arty Loon’ at Newbury Park Library, Thousand Oaks Library: Bring children ages 5 and up for comedy, magic, amazing illusions, balloons, hilarious antics with audience participation, mayhem and more with Arty Loon.

Abba Tribute at City of Westlake Village Saturday in the Park: Events start at 7pm with food available for purchase at 6 p.m.

‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream,’ Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival at CLU: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” follows the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors, the mechanicals, who are all controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set.

‘The Great Man’s Lady,’ Summer Movie Series at McCrea Ranch: The feature film will be The Great Man’s Lady, a 1942 western drama starring Joel McCrea and Barbara Stanwyck. Enjoy watching the films, outside under the stars at the McCrea Ranch Visitors Center in Thousand Oaks.

 

Sunday

Redbirds Native American Powwow in Moorpark: Enjoy Native American singing, dancing, arts, crafts and food all weekend long.

19th Annual Pooch Parade in Ventura: The walk is a fundraiser to support dog rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and dog owner education programs undertaken by the Canine Adoption and Rescue League (C.A.R.L.).

Free Concerts on the Green in Woodland Hills: The Valley Cultural Center presents its 41st Annual Free Concerts on the Green, held at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Park in Woodland Hills, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd.

Sun Sets Summer Concert Series at Calabasas Lake, Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber: The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and sweaters. Some fixed seating is available on a first come first served basis. All performances are free to the public.
