Explore Living History With Tall Ships: Tall Ships, Hawaiian Chieftain and Lady Washington commence their annual voyage along the California coast and sail into Ventura Harbor.

$5 Friday! Winter Wonderland: Bring your friends and family to Art Trek and create a winter wonderland of art at $5 Friday!  A night to be creative and make various art projects. Friday, January 15th from 5:30-9 p.m.

Sherlock Holmes’ The Hound of the Baskervilles: Presented by the Conejo Players, this production of the classic story is a fresh, present-day adaptation.

Saturday

Millennium Loop Trail Hike in Calabasas: Take a moderately-paced, 11.4-mile, 2700’ gain loop hike in Cala­basas.

Horse Tales in Newbury Park: Take the family to meet rangers, volunteers and and horses! Enjoy a tour of the historic Rancho Sierra Vista ranch plus a short horse demonstration in the arena.

‘Squishy Circuits’ at Newbury Park Library: This program for ages eight and up will allow you to explore circuitry and build your own squishy circuit.

Xterra Boney Mountain Trail Run: The 21K starts at 8 a.m. and 6K starts at 8:30 a.m.

MONDAY 

Ventura County’s Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration in Oxnard:The 2016 Ventura County Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Monday, January 18th will start at 8 a.m. with a gathering at Plaza Park, 500 South C Street in Downtown Oxnard, followed by a “Freedom March” to the Oxnard Performing Arts Center (OPAC), 800 Hobson Way.
