Friday

 

‘Free Willy’ Screening at Dive In Movie Night in Calabasas:  Doors open at 6 p.m. Free swimming and family fun entertainment from 6-8:30 p.m., and movie starts at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The Street Art Live: A monthly LIVE art event bringing some of SoCal’s best emerging artists forward. Walk along the atrium and watch artists create street art right before your eyes.

Free Screening of ‘Eyes on the Sky’ Documentary in Newbury Park: The film examines the years-long drought in the West and poses strategies for sustainable water supplies. It will be screened at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19 at a Community Forum in Newbury Park.

Asia Featuring John Payne at the Canyon Club: Showtime is at 9 p.m.

 

 Saturday

 

Annual Touch-A-Truck Event: Bring the kids to the Annual Conejo Recreation & Park District’s Touch-a-Truck event coming from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Thousand Oaks Community Park.

Get Inspired Hike at Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center:Enjoy a one mile loop hike with 360 degree views of the Santa Monica Mountains. Bring water and sturdy shoes. Meet by the fountain at 10 a.m.

Teen Super Hero & Comic Book Party at Newbury Park Library:  Teens in grades 6-12 can come dressed as their favorite super hero or comic book character and enjoy activities, games, prizes and more.

Evening Cultural Program at Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center: Start the summer solstice with Chumash songs and stories with Ted Garcia, Hereditary Chief of the Southern Clan of the Chumash.

Star Parties Hosted by Oak Canyon Astronomy Group in Oak Park:The Oak Canyon Astronomy Group Star Parties at Oak Canyon Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive, Oak Park are free to the public. The mission of the group is to bring an awareness of amateur astronomy to the community by showing what they can actually see in the night sky.

 

Sunday

Malibu Cars and Coffee Event: The City of Malibu, in partnership with Exclusive Motorcars, Southern California’s top car enthusiasts will enjoy a beautiful drive down the coast to meet at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, from 7-9 a.m.

Father’s Dar Car Show at Channel Islands: Presented by Milestone Car Society of California, Dads can celebrate their special day at the car show waterside at Channel Islands Harbor. In addition to the classic cars, guests can enjoy vendor displays, food booths, musical entertainment and a 50/50 prize raffle. For more information, go to Milestone Car Society.

Concerts in the Park in Agoura Hills: Led Zepagain performs beginning at 6 p.m. at Chumash Park.

Free Concerts on the Green in Woodland Hills: The Valley Cultural Center presents its 40th Annual Free Concerts on the Green, held at the beautiful Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Park in Woodland Hills, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd. There is plenty of room for a late afternoon picnic with the family while being entertained by headline performers. Concerts are held from 6-8 p.m. Tribute to Journey will be performing.
