Music in Motion at the Agoura Hills Library: Fun, musically rewarding and motivating class for babies, toddlers, and their parents. Classes are held every Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Agoura Hills Library.
The Bethlehem Experience in Westlake Village: The Bethlehem Experience is returning this year on Friday and Saturday, December 12th and 13th from 5-9 p.m. in Westlake Village. Drive through the First Christmas Eve! For two magical nights, Bethlehem comes to Westlake Village as the congregation of Westminster Presbyterian Church transforms their church grounds into The Bethlehem Experience, an amazingly lifelike recreation of the 1st century village. Incredible sets, theatrical lighting, a wonderful collection of props, and over 100 members of the congregation in period costumes transport visitors back in time. Senior Concerns Plans Holiday Shopping Extravaganza at Bargain Boutique Thrift Store: With the holiday shopping season in full swing, Senior Concerns invites the public to join us on Saturday, December 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m for the Bargain Boutique Thrift Store’s Holiday Shopping Extravaganza featuring 25% off everything in the store.
Conejo Community Center and Outdoor Unit Jingle Bell Hike:An elf will lead you and your child up the short trail where children will get to visit with Santa and have their pictures taken. They can then enjoy a cup of hot chocolate while making holiday crafts and playing games. The Jingle Bell Hike will be held on Saturday, December 13th from noon to 2:00pm at the Conejo Community Center located at 1175 Hendrix Ave. in Thousand Oaks. The cost for the hike is $10 per child
Santa at the Adobe in Agoura Hills: Join Santa at the Reyes Adobe for an afternoon of holiday fun decorating cookies, making crafts, story time with Santa, photo ops, hot chocolate bar and snacks on Saturday, December 13, from 1:30-3:30 pm. Cost is $2 per child.
Open House at Chumash Indian Museum in Thousand Oaks: The Chumash Indian Museum at 3290 Lang Ranch Parkway in Thousand Oaks is hosting its Annual Open House and 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, December 13th from 2-5 p.m. Free admission!
‘No Room at the Inn’ Nativity Display in Thousand Oaks: No Room at the Inn is a display of over 500 nativity sets from private collections, with proceeds helping our Ventura County homeless. This year’s display will be hosted by St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 155 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.
‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ Radio Theater at Thousand Oaks Library: Fried-Out Productions will perform the delightful holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” radio theater version using special effects from the Library’s American Radio Archives from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Grant R. Brimhall Library.
The Mighty Met Acoustic Flashback Honoring Paraquat Kelley, Canyon Club: On-air personality Pat “Paraquat” Kelley was a fixture on Southern California radio for over a decade. In 2003, Pat was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and he’s currently battling the advanced stages of the disease. Award winning musicians, KMET alumni and friends are bringing their talents and efforts together for a one-night special event at 7:30pm in recognition of Pat’s unstoppable spirit and courage.
