Friday

AHS ComedySportz Presents Screening of ‘Better Off Dead’ at PAEC: Agoura High’s ComedySportz will screen Better Off Dead, starring Diane DeLaurentis, an AHS parent and Comedy Sportz coach. Following the screening at 6:30 p.m. at the Agoura High PAEC, there will be a Q & A with DeLaurentis and film director Savage Steve Holland plus surprise guests.

Eddie Money at the Canyon Club: With over 28 million records sold worldwide, Eddie Money’s trademark raspy husky voice is easily recognized today. Showtime is at 9 p.m.

 

Saturday

Caregiver Recognition Day at Senior Concerns: Recognizing the need to honor and celebrate family caregivers, the Caregivers Matter… Conejo Cares event will offer caregivers a chance to share their story, renew their spirit, relieve stress and enjoy an uplifting and empowering program and luncheon.

Kids Fun Zone at Janss Marketplace: The Kids Fun Zone craft events meets the last Saturday of every month from 12-3 p.m. at Janss Marketplace held near Toys R Us.

‘Wings to Fly: Frida Kahlo’ at Westlake Village Library: Join us at the Westlake Village Library on Saturday, January 30, 2015 from 2-3:30 p.m. for a free performance of “Wings to Fly: Frida Kahlo.” In this entertaining multi-media presentation, Dr. Gloria Arjona will explore the life and works of artist Frida Kahlo while live musicians play the folk music that influenced Kahlo’s art.

‘Squishy Circuits’ at Thousand Oaks Library: This program for ages eight and up will allow you to explore circuitry and build your own squishy circuit.

Winter Skygazing Event at Rancho Sierra Vista: Explore the skies of winter with views of stunning star clusters and dramatic nebulae. Learn of Orion the Hunter and the stories connected to other winter time constellations. Bring your DSLR and capture images of celestial jewels through the telescopes.

Flea Market at Ventura County Fairgrounds: The event features antiques, used and new merchandise sold by over 500 vendors.

‘From Set to Screen’ at Paramount Ranch: Learn the secrets that turn a dusty set into a realistic town. On this behind-the-scenes walk, discover the illusions and history of Paramount Ranch.

Conejo Valley Youth Orchestras Present: FOOTLOOSE: Please join us on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 3pm in the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
