It is also a unique opportunity for jazz enthusiasts in the community and surrounding areas to enjoy world-class musicians as they play at an affordable local venue.

On Saturday, March 14th, at noon, audiences will enjoy the Aaron Serfaty Trio with Otmaro Ruiz and Darek Oles. Three of southern California’s most-respected rhythm section players will perform music from Aaron’s recent album “In the Game”. Both concerts take place in the NPHS Performing Arts Center at 456 Reino Rd., Newbury Park.

For the low price of $10, attendees will receive an All Access Pass for Saturday’s all-day festival with access to clinics, competitions, the noontime concert, and a wealth of tempting concessions. Watch as students in big bands and combos perform and receive feedback as well as individualized post-performance clinics. Festival tickets are $10 and, like the concert on Friday, will be available at the door and online at www.npjazzfestival.org. All proceeds support the NPHS Instrumental Music Department.
