Agoura’s One City, One Book to Hold Host of Programs

PowerThe City of Agoura Hills and the Friends of the Agoura Hills Library will be holding upcoming “Once City One Book” programs.  The book chosen for this year is Power by Sarah Morgans and Bill Thorness, which chronicles how J.D. Power became the auto industry’s most important advisor.

The “One City One Book” program will begin with a Day of Innovation at the Agoura Hills City Hall & Community Room on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a lecture by Dave Power at 1 p.m.  There will be innovative kids activities, demonstrations on illustration, a car show, live art, kids recommendations for the future, plus hot dogs!

The Children’s Program – “I’m Proud to be Me Day!” will be held on Tuesday, April 29 at 4 p.m.  There will be crafts and activities featuring the Origami Book of Secrets and prizes, and Mayor Koehler will read Magical Lemonade Stand.
