Piper, who came to the Agoura shelter as a stray, is a seven-year-old “Pittie.” She has a beautiful frosted face and is described by volunteers as a love. She came in as a micro-chipped stray, but sadly no one came to claim her. In spite of her abandonment, she has maintained her sweet and affectionate personality.
Here are some things you should know about her:
- She is very smart.
- She knows how to sit and shake.
- She walks well when on a leash.
- She has medium energy.
- She loves to be with people.
- She can be trusted to be alone in the real room, which probably means she is house trained and respectful of furniture.
- She is a people pleaser.
She may be considered to be a mature dog, but she is a known entity. What you see is what you get. Besides, dogs of this age need love, too, and they can transform your life in ways that you can’t imagine. They are one in a million and give a special kind of love to their owners. They roll with life’s ups and downs. After all, she has had to since she found her way to the shelter through no fault of her own.
Piper always shows appreciation for all the attention that is given her. She doesn’t like to leave the volunteers side when it’s her turn to go into the play yards. If you’re looking for a mature pet with a medium energy level and an eagerness to please, stop by the shelter to meet her today. She’s ready to become an integrated part of your family.
