Screen Shot 2015-02-04 at 5.19.01 PMThe Agoura Hills Cultural Arts Council announced the Art @ the Adobe’s Solo Artist Show will feature the artwork of actress Jane Seymour. The Golden Globe recipient who won for her leading role as Dr. Quinn on Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman is also known for her Open Hearts by Jane Seymour® jewelry line for Kay Jewelers.

With a thriving career as an artist with her own art gallery in Los Angeles, Seymour’s delicate watercolors, colorful vibrant oil paintings, pastels and bronze sculptures have been exhibited in numerous galleries and venues across North America. Her love of art and color has led to her success. “I challenge myself to reach new artistic levels by continually developing my technique, style and subject matter,” said Seymour.

The Solo Artist exhibit will include Seymour’s original and limited-edition art work, prints, fine art sculpture, art-to-wear products, watercolor kits and Open Heart books for sale. Also on exhibit will be fine art photography from the collection of Sean M. Flynn, Seymour’s son. Patrons may also view one of Seymour’s period Dr. Quinn costumes from the popular television series. A portion of the proceeds from the sales during the exhibition will go to help sponsor Agoura Hills Cultural Arts 2015 Teen Art Show.

Seymour is a multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winner and recipient of the Officer of the British Empire (OBE) in the year 2000, which was bestowed upon her by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
