About the Los Angeles Italian American Golf Association
It all started more than 30 years ago when Dr. Lucatorto, Nicholas Tirabassi, Dan Cirino and Rubin Mariano decided to celebrate their Italian Heritage, through golf with friends, while raising money for a great cause. Through the years, the LAIAGA has raised more than $300,000 dollars for numerous charities. Over the years, the LAIAGA has raised money for a number of charities which include Juvenile Diabetes Research, National Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society, Guide Dogs of America and the Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Recent recipients have been the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer, The San Genaro Foundation, Hillsides Home for Neglected Children, Circle of Hope and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley. The goal of the LAIAGA is to continue to make a difference in the lives of others. Many business and community leaders have participated in the cause including hundreds of individuals.
