The Calabasas Las Virgenes Historical Society is organizing a trip to visit Lotusland in Santa Barbara, a breath taking garden expanding 37 acres with over 3,000 plant species from around the world. Excursion includes a contemporary art exhibition inspired by an environmental imperative – the global loss of wild bird populations, an indicator of the health of our planet.
Tour is two hours, and it’s an easy walking. Bring a brown bag lunch; snacks will be provided. On Friday, May 8, at 11 a.m., meet at Calabasas City Hall to board shuttle bus that will be provided to the Lotusland. The estimated return is 5:30 p.m. depending on traffic. The fee is $50 and includes a ticket for the tour, bus trip to Santa Barbara and good company!
