Celebrating its 30th Anniversary, Senior Concerns’ Ultimate Dining Experience fundraiser will showcase some of the region’s best wineries along with the culinary creations of fine dining restaurants and caterers from the Conejo Valley. The event takes place Saturday, September 26, 5 p.m., at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza.
Proceeds from the Ultimate Dining Experience help support Senior Concerns’ programs and services, including an Adult Day Program for seniors with cognitive or physical impairments, Meals On Wheels in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park, and a Caregiver Support Center which provides invaluable services, information and emotional support for family caregivers.
This year’s event will highlight chef’s cuisine from Aroha Restaurant, Geppino’s Italian Kitchen, Hyatt Westlake Plaza, Mastro’s Steakhouse, May’s Kitchen, The Grill on the Alley, Westlake Culinary Institute, and the Westlake Village Inn. Paired with the food will be featured wines from Alma Sol Winery, Hahn Family Wines, Magnavino Cellars, Opolo Vineyards, San Vicente Cellars, Sunland Vintage Winery, and Ventura Limoncello, along with beer from Heineken USA.
The doors open at 5 p.m. to chef’s samplings and wine tasting in the garden, along with a silent auction featuring a vast highly sought after wines and other items and live music. At 7 p.m. attendees move to the ballroom for a three-course gourmet dinner with wine pairing, a live action and dancing to the music of Motown, performed by the premier tribute band, the Blue Breeze Band.
