Two Conejo Valley cities rank among the safest in California, according to a recent study conducted by BackgroundCheck.org. The study was based on FBI violent crime statistics and propriety research data.
According to the research, Calabasas came in at #15. “You’ll be pretty safe living here too, with a 55.5 violent crime rate and a 1% chance of being involved in a property crime,” said the report.
Agoura Hills ranked at #17. “The violent crime rate here is 58.1, and the chance of being involved in a property crime in the city is just 1.1%,” the study said.
Towns just outside the area that made the list are Camarillo, at #36, and Simi Valley, at #50.
