Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County’s Bags, Bling & Bubbly
November 9, 2015 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm$85
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County’s (BBSVC) much-anticipated, seventh-annual Bags, Bling & Bubbly champagne luncheon will take place on Monday, November 9th at Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo. The stylish event, benefiting BBSVC, begins at 11 a.m. with an amazing array of new designer and vintage handbags, jewelry, and accessories available for purchase or by auction.
The luncheon will recognize the Wise, Wonderful Women of 2015, actresses Teri Polo and Sherri Saum, the stars of ABC Family’s “The Fosters.” The hit show revolves around a mix of foster, adoptive, and biological children raised by two moms in a modern, multiethnic family. “The Fosters” currently airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
Lynne West, CEO of BBSVC, said, “We are excited to celebrate Ms. Polo and Ms. Saum as wise and wonderful role models for our youth. They were chosen for this honor for helping to shine a light on service to children in the foster care system, and highlighting the challenges all children face on the path to becoming adults.”
Wise, Wonderful Women of previous years are also expected to return to Bags, Bling & Bubbly this year as special guests.
Event chair Diane Sabol said, “Our Bags, Bling & Bubbly luncheon gets more exciting every year. Guests can expect a spectacular afternoon filled with glitz and glamour plus a few new surprises!”
Early-bird tickets are priced at $85 each ($95 after October 27th) and are advance-purchase only; no tickets will be sold at the door for this exclusive event. There will also be an opportunity drawing for a $5000 cash prize; only 200 of these sought-after tickets will be sold at $100 each (winner need not be present to win). All proceeds from the Bags, Bling & Bubbly champagne luncheon help provide the financial support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County needs to help serve youth in one-to-one mentoring programs in our schools and community.
Sponsors of the event include Select Staffing, Comerica Bank, McFadden Family Law & Mediation, CoffeyTalk.com, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Diane Sabol, Gerald & Bill Powell, and Jackie & Mickey Biederman. More sponsorship opportunities are also still available for Bags, Bling & Bubbly.
