CinderellaDRAMA takes the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale and re-imagines it in the Melodrama style. It all starts with Ella and her family, who have what seems like a perfect life until her mother dies suddenly. Her father becomes enchanted with an evil woman who brings her equally vile daughters in to live with them, forcing Ella to sleep on the floor and become their servant.
But Cinderella (as she gets called because she’s covered in cinders) is befriended by a Fairy Godmother from the Department of Magic and Human Services, and things seem like they might get better. When the Prince announces that he is having a Ball where he will select a wife, the battle lines are drawn between Cinderella and her new step-mother and step-sisters.
But the Prince turns out to be no prize. Enter the alternate romantic interest, Mike Dragonslayer, editor of the Village Acorn and the Princes’ brother. There are secrets, plot twists, a wedding to stop, antiheroes, and anti-antiheroes. All characters and storylines collide in an epic showdown against a villain that no one expects.
