Three Local Talents at The Frame Gallery in Agoura

April 25, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Frame Gallery will be hosting three local talents on April 25 at Juxtaposed in Agoura from 1-4 pm at 5907 Kanan Road. Photographic artist, Carol Roullard, will present unique offerings that are taking the art and scientific communities by storm. Roullard’s award-winning images are photographs of micro-crystals enlarged and printed on an aluminum substrate that accurately shows the crystals’ intense prismatic colors. Roullard and her husband have authored seven books on photography.

Landscape photographer, Jerry Cowart, will display his genuine eye for beauty in a hobby turned profession. “As a successful award-winning graphic designer for over 40 years, my interest in photography started during my tour in Vietnam in 1968, when I carried a Kodak 35MM Instamatic every place I went. I now shoot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and carry it every place I go. Through my love for graphic design, I got involved with some of the top photographers in the Los Angeles area and photography has been a passion ever since.”

Humorist, Sheli Ellsworth will be reading from her latest book: Confessions of a Pet Au Pair—the ABCs of pet ailments including traditional and homeopathic care (BeachHouse Books, 2014) and The Psychoanalysis of Everyday Life—sometimes I pee when I laugh. Ellsworth who has a master’s degree in psychology says, ”I finally decided that making fun of people can be far more liberating than trying to fix them.” She also has an interactive children’s book, My Winter Holiday by Noah that chronicles the adventures of a miserable eight-year-old who is forced to go on a vacation with his parents over winter break
