The Resilient Teen: Helping Your Teen Have a Great Start to the New Year–Inside and Outside the Classroom
August 25, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Is my teen ready for the challenges of the upcoming school year and beyond? Will they be able to handle the stress? Am I helping them develop the skills they need to survive one day when they move away from home?
Come join a local adolescent and young adult health expert as he provides parents with tips on how to best prepare teenagers for becoming responsible and healthy adults. Drawing on the research and the presenter’s experiences, this presentation will focus on the common qualities among those adolescents who are able to fall down, pick themselves up and keep going. Parents will also gain information about what they can be doing now and in the future to help their teen not just survive, but thrive life after high school.
