Love Run For Seniors Needs Volunteers

Love RunSenior Concerns, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to serving the senior community, needs volunteers for their 21st Annual Love Run on Sunday, June 8. Because the course was changed this year, they need over 100 volunteers to assist the sheriff’s department in opening the course for the runners the morning of the race.
Most volunteers will complete their task by 10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Westlake Village, in the Brent’s Deli/Pepperdine Extension parking lot area of 3011 Townsgate Road.
  • Volunteers will be put into pairs and one of the two volunteers must be an adult of 18 years or older (you can choose the person you will be placed with)
  • Volunteers must be able to stand for at least 2 to 3 hours at a time.
  • Volunteers will get a complementary pancake breakfast with sausage and juice plus other goodies to snack on at the event

All funds raised will benefit Meals On Wheels program and allow Senior Concerns to never turn anyone away for their inability to pay. Meals on Wheels provides two meals a day, both freshly made, 364 days a year.
