Mia is a 14-year-old shepherd mix that found her way to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. As they grew old together, she had been used to a quiet life, a comfy bed, some soft food, the TV playing in the background and the love of her person. Now she needs to find a new forever home.
Here are some things you should know about her:
- All things considered, she has adjusted to shelter life.
- She gets around great.
- She enjoys slow and easy walks.
- She is a sweet girl.
- She loves being with the volunteers and staff.
- The public has tended to ignore her because of her age.
Since she has been at the shelter, she went to see a private vet for her senior wellness check-up and she is pretty healthy; just some age-related things like a poor appetite. It’s time for her to go to a new home, and the staff and volunteers hope it will be soon. Could you be her angel?
