Dallas is a two-and-a-half-year-old male pit bull that was loved by his family but had trouble getting along with the other dogs living with him. It seems that he was be meant to be an “only child,” wanting his people all to himself.
Here are some things you should know about Dallas:
- He is housebroken.
- He does well spending time in the “Real Room”.
- He gets along great with children.
- He walks well on leash.
- He loves car rides.
He is still considered a young dog and needs someone who has the time, love and patience to further his training. If you use his favorite treats, he can and will learn everything you want because he is a smart boy and seems eager to learn.
Dallas wouldn’t be a good candidate for dog park interactions but should do well as a walking or running companion. He is a dog that likes being with people rather than being with other pets, and he would thrive being spoiled with your attention.
Take some time with him and his gift to you will be loyalty and loving companionship. If you don’t mind having Dallas be your one and only and are ready for the love and loyalty for which pitties are known, please stop by the shelter to meet him.
