Hughes is a five-year-old male Labrador Retriever. Not much is known about his past, other than he was adopted for about a week but returned because his energy level proved too much for the nice older gentlemen who adopted him. The personality match was good, but the physical capability of each was incompatible. We know he did the right thing by bringing Hughes back to the shelter and hope someone who is active will adopt him and make him a part of their integrated family.
He needs to become a beloved indoor family member in a forever home with someone who loves to go walking, running, jogging or hiking.
Here are some things you should know about him:
- It’s unclear if he is house trained, but he has successfully spent unsupervised time in the “real room.”
- He loves to play ball.
- He is a happy, bouncy boy.
- He would probably do best as an only dog.
- It doesn’t seem as though he has had a lot of training, but he is treat motivated and willing to learn new tricks.
Though Hughes is a middle age boy, he is still a typical, happy-go-lucky Lab who needs a second chance with someone who is willing to spend some time with him. Your life could be filled with endless possibilities of good times, love and happiness. Are you game? If you are ask to meet him today.
