Having lived with the same family for most of her life, Lady was brought to the shelter because they had “too many dogs.” People associated with the shelter believe there should be no “throw away” pets and, once adopted, the pet should be a family member for life except for the certain circumstances that necessitate giving up a pet.
Lady is a 4 ½ -year-old female Terrier mix. She was left outside most of the time and really deserves to be an inside dog and an integrated part of a loving family. Could that be with you at your home?
Here are some things you should know about her:
- She enjoys going on walks and then curling up in her comfy little bed.
- She needs very little: good food, water, attention, and a warm place to sleep indoors.
- She loves to hop up onto a lap and will sit there for as long as allowed.
- She needs a refresher course in being potty trained since she was outside so much of the time, but the volunteers will lend a crate and they can offer great tips. She seems to catch on to new routines quickly.
Lady needs a second chance with a family willing to take her in.
